This reveal was another product of probably that same phone call with Chris Yambar. I had put a lot of things in motion over the course of the series, and when it was decided that things were ending with issue 6, I was at a loss for many of them. (some of them never really played out… like that time Xavier got bit by a Vampire), However, this is exactly the type of nuttiness the book deserved. Abe Lincoln would have LOVED that hat, I bet.
