Ours were above concrete. Jagged, hot concrete. But that was in the 70’s and kids were meant to be seen and not heard… screaming for an ambulance.
Is Jabberjaws an insult? I always thought he was cool. I mean, he’s no Speed Buggy. Who I’m not sure which I like more, him or WonderBug. Talking car or flying car? Guess they both beat a shark that plays the drums.
It may be that I was also hit in the head by a seesaw. Or is it teeter-totter? Is that a regional thing, like pop vs. soda? Or Highway vs. Freeway vs. Expressway? Or ginger ale vs. Vernors? Which doesn’t even matter, give me a Faygo Red Pop or nuthin’.
